Kalt – Recent Research Findings on the Health Benefits of Blueberries

This comprehensive review summarizes current scientific evidence showing that regular consumption of blueberries is associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins and other phytochemicals that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, improve vascular and glucose regulation, and may positively influence the gut microbiota. Epidemiological and clinical studies support their role in promoting healthy aging and reducing major disease risks. A moderate daily intake is recommended for optimal health benefits.
